Creating a flexible wire

is there any way I can create a piece of wire that will flex into position when placed in a *.iam? The position will change dependent of the *.iam it place into there for some sort of ipart would be good.

You probably want to look at adaptive 3D
sketches.  They are made in the context of the assembly.  iParts are
not adaptive.  See my tutorial on Introduction to 3D Sketches for more
info.
