Create iPart/iAssy command cashes all library styles to model

Steps to reproduce:

  1. Activate Default.ipj
  2. Create new IPT (or IAM)
  3. Purge all syles apart from active one in each applicable category (Lighting, Material, Color).
  4. Execute “Create iPart” (or Create «iAssembly») command and accept just default state (press OK).
  5. Find all library styles cashed to the model

Style are light-weighting and their cashing shouldn’t make much harm … right?

But some of color styles in our Inv12 library do use library files so we end up with ALL Configuration Factories contain undesired links to ALL custom textures (Tools\Options\Links) which creates undesired relationships in Vault.

Reproducible in:

Inventor 2012 SP2 update 3.

Inventor 2013 SP2 (only Lighting styles of course)

Inventor 2014 update 2 (only Lighting styles of course)

This is a known issue and development are working to resolve it.
