Converting a parametric model to a freeform model

Is it possible to create a parametric model in inventor 2015 and then convert the entire shape into a freeform model so that the original parametric model forms the basic shape for me to freeform (So I don't need to start with one of the very masic freeform shapes but my own more complex one)?

Hi! We are aware of this limitation and we are actively working to improve the workflows. If you are interested, you may want to sign up for Inventor Shelby Beta program.

Many thanks!

Hi Johnson Shiue

Thanks for your swift reply regarding the matter. I would like to sign up for the Inventor Shelby Beta program.

Is it possible to provide me with a link for this? (I'll also go search for it online myself).

Thanks again. 🙂
