Converting Text to Curves

I'm new to Inventor. I'd like to create some text, and then convert it to lines and arcs. I can't find any way to do this, and now I'm wondering if this very simple task is even possible in Inventor?

create text emboss it

and project the embossed to another sketch

But sometimes there's a "Self intersectin loop found…" error occurs when extruding/embossing and there's nothing to project. Is there any other solution in this case?

Is it certain fonts that give you that?

Arial for example

Blackadder ITC it didn't like, but I've never seen that with Arial. (I just picked two normal fonts and two that I thought might be difficult.) What's your text?
