Right click on the filename.

Select Send to Compressed (zipped) Folder.

Attach the resulting *.zip file here.

All I did was start up autocad and go to Insert>Import>External File>IGES File...

Autocad probably has the ability to import those as well but I cannot say I've ever tried.

Hello all, I am trying to open an IGS file, but AutoCAD won't open it. Could you teach me how to convert it to DWG? Thanks!

Hi! This IGES file was exported from Catia. It seems to contain a solid body or surfaces. I can import it to Inventor 2022  as a solid body without a problem. Then export it to an AutoCAD dwg file.

What was the error you saw in AutoCAD? It should work.

Many thanks!

In AutoCAD run the IGESImport command.

I tried the IGESImport JDMather told me about, and it worked very well.
Didn't use your method because I don't have Inventor, but thank you so much for the attention!
