Controlling the bend radius of a spline?

So I'm making a structured cabling system for a ship which involves cable going between decks and at one point a 3-d sketch has to be created by means of a spline as an arc will not allow me to be tangent to two points. It all looks good, but I can't confirm to a client that the bend radius is not comprised as it will not allow me to dimension before or after I sweep the cable path.

Is there any way round this?

Splines cannot be dimensioned because there are an infinite number of different radii. I don;t know of a software that can produce accurate dims on a spline.

I thought this was the case. Cheers.

Create an appropriate view in an idw/dwg

Create a sketch on that view, project geometry the spline

In the sketch, create a 3pt arc using the ends and mid point of the spline

Dim the arc in the view

That should be close enough for the sparkies, but explain what you used to them
