Hi, I have 4 different sub assemblies , each with a common part , I need to line up all these common parts in my main assembly, please can you point me to a tutorial or help file that shows how to do it . Regards
Hi, I leave my common part under constrained with the part able to "move" in the sub assembly. After placing my sub assembly into my main assembly, I'm trying to use the "Flexible" option to "move" the under constrained part and contrain it to a work plane in the main assembly , but the "Flexible" option is not avalible (greyed out) , any ideas ? Regards

The sub-assembly is a weldment.
You would need to add the "flexible" part to the top level in the assembly or in a non-weldment subassembly.
Once you have them lined up you could then right click Component>Demote back into the weldment subs.
