I was wondering if someone out there can offer me any advice.
I am looking to move the location on the network where we currently store all of our Inventor files.
eg, move from d:\drawings to k:\inventor stuff
We currently have thousands of drawings and assemblies that will be effected by this move.
Now I realise that if I modify the location I am going to be confronted with lots of unreslovfed parts/assemblies etc.
Do any of you guy know of a way that will allow me to change the folder structure and keep the existing links be that with a plugin or a manual fix using the task scheduler?
Create a new project file after the move. Do it right and everything
should resolve. Are you moving your Libraries and Content Center folders
as well? If so, they will need to be resolved once, as the have absolute
file paths.
