I made a complex sketch, and want to extrude.
When i want to select the whole sketch, i position the mouse on the upper left of the screen and drag down and right, but no window is created.
And i cannot add segments to the selection, even with pressing SHIFT, because immediately after the first is selected, it is extruded.
Third question: you see on the picture i attached that some segments (in red) are connected. how can i connect all the sketch together, so when i will select it everything is selected.
Thanks-Karol
I recommend you pattern a feature rather than sketch entities for that part..
If you want to fix that sketch you will need to run the Sketch Doctor.
It will tell you that you are missing some coincident constraints.
If you can't figure it out - attach the file here.
You are correct, there is at least one open loop.
What does this sign of constraint mean? i didn't find it in the help.
Why are the two arcs marked as red?
Karol
I cannot show you the problem without the file.
I could take 5 minutes to reproduce this simple problem, but since you have already created the geometry.....
I think you are referring to the patterned sketch geometry constraint.
I attach the file.
You are right, i made a pattern. i didn't find that kind of constraint in the help, can you send me a link?
And why only one adjacent repetition of the line appears marked in red? the pattern includes about 16.
Just do it like this...
We all tend to avoid sketch patterns in favor of feature patterns.
See attached..
Edit Sketch.
Go to wireframe view.
Doesn't look symmetrical to me?
Only one dimension - shouldn't there be several?
Right click and select Show all Constraints. Inventor has to solve those.
Right click on sketch in browser and select Sketch Doctor and Diagnose.
Start over.
Make 1/20 sketch.
Create feature.
Pattern feature.
Attach your new attempt here if you can't figure it out.

Did you figure out this problem yet?
You are doing too much work.
Model 1/20 of the sketch and attach the file here.
