Can't see point cloud when creating Inventor drawing

We are currently working on using reality capture as a new process for our business. We have the point clouds, we have Autodesk Factory Design Suite 2013 Ultimate but now we need to start developing the process. As we began working the post processing, one thing we were trying to do was create an Inventor drawing so that we could start applying dimensions. The problem is, Inventor doesn't seem to see the cloud once it gets into the drawing stage. Do I need to embed or something? I feel like we missed a step somewhere but can't figure out where. Help is ALWAYS appreciated.

I do know that you can attach a point (work feature) to a point in a cloud within the assembly/part space. These points can be included in a drawing view and even dimensioned directly in the drawing this way. Otherwise, in the part/assembly, you may create more work features, constrain visible and dimensionable items to the work features, and then you will be able to place dimensions in the drawing.

Hope this helps...
