Can't chang a dimension in a sheet metal part

Hi,

In this sketch, I need the dimension of .5 to become .25.

It won't work, probably because it is the same dimention of Sheet metal Tickness.

What should I do?

Thanks! 🙂

That's not the correct way to build that part.

Scrap it and start over. Draw an arc that runs something less than 360 degrees. Use the contour flange feature.

Hi Mrattray,

It is not a correct way to build the part, because I am going from flat to bend?

I used contur flange feature, with 350 and a 10 deg.

The Lofted Flange feature works too.. but do you think the lofted Flange is still the best way?

Thanks! 🙂

Contour Flange and Lofted Flange are two different tools for different purposes.
