I made a sketch using the SPLINE tool in inventor 2014. I am trying to print a gasket for it with my laser cutter. I can not get it to work. IF i use export sketch i get a rough outline that has no gravity from the spline tool. If I use the Export Face tool i get only the holes not the face. I can print the STL of my part with my 3d printer just fine. however the face nor the sketch can work.
I will attatch the files that I am using and a bitmap of what it looks like on my screen.

A png image file would have been a fraction of the size of a bmp.
You forgot to attach the Inventor file.
sorry about that.....getting late here,, been working and trying solutions all night long....I think it has something to do with ,maybe i have more than one face or hidin layer,,,,i can't figure it out,,,,
While I take a look at your file - I recommend that you install
Worked fine here. What Export Options do you have set?
Inventor dxf export of face viewed in AutoCAD.
i still get either just holes or this janky outline........so weird The face will extrude just fine and it will 3d print just fine,,I just can't get it in 2d for my laser cutter.....I installed service pack
You didn't answer my previous question about what Export Options you are using.
The latest dwf you attached is in paperspace, not modelspace
and
increase viewres (at least 2000) in AutoCAD and Regen.
holy crap....I tried viewing my dxf file with trueView and It looks great and I was able to send it to my full spectrum laser cutter software. It is not to scale but i can scale it down i think....maybe there is an issue with Corel draw and inventor DXF files...I have been trying corel draw and inkscapoe to view...both do the same thing.....
The Options are avialable when saving the file.
