Can I import 2d isometric geometry into Inventor and extrude?

It would save me a lot of time if I could do as the title suggests as I received a complex isometric 2D drawing (AutoCAD) from a supplier and need to make 3D models from it.

Thanks in advance

Yes, but it isn't going to give the results you are after.

Can you attach a sample dwg file here?

The file is 4 megs in zipped format so I might as well forget it. Do you know if I can get dimensions off of it? Being an iso, I doubt that they will be accurate.

Thanks

The limit over here http://www.augi.com is 10meg.

A correctly drawn (simple) iso can be accurately dimensioned but because of the difficulty of creating a good iso it is usual practice to fudge. Especially if it isn't simple prismatic edges.
