Break Out View

can someone help me how and step by step on how to make a break out view?

I keep getting an error saying " The view does not contain a sketch with a closed profile. "

Tried making a draft view but still getting an error. I probably missing something here.

Pick View.   Hit Sketch
Button.   Draw Profile (these steps associate it to the
view).   Then start breakout view tool.

If you're saying Through Part remember to pick the
part in the view.
