Hi there,
I have a strange problem in Inventor 2013:
The back button has gone missing in some ribbon menus..
Does anyone know if this Is bug or a setting thats been changed?
Thanks!
Brgds,
Chris
Chris,
Interesting!!! I am only on 2012, but since I have been using Inventor (started in 2011) I have never seen a back button where you are indicating. I know my undo button is in the top ribbon.
Are you talking about something entirely different?

That is strange, I am used to that back buttom.
It takes me back up through assemblies.
But it looks like you are using the small button ribbon, if you use the default it shold be there?
I am using the compact setting. I just converted it back to the default and I still didn't get any back button.
Did you just upgrade?

Chris,
I'm not sure why the button has gone missing, but the button is called "Return." Calling it "Back" may be confusing people into not understanding the problem.
Does the problem persist if you restart Inventor? I believe I have seen the Return button disappear before, but it was just a temporary glitch and came back the next time the program was run.
John,
Thanks. As soon as you mentioned the "Return" button I knew what he was talking about.
That is strange that it is not showing up. I know if you hit "Ctrl" Enter that should work as well.
That is the default keystroke on my system.
Maybe go to the customize button on the tools tab in the ribbon and see if the button is disabled.
