BOM column customization

Is there a way to customize the BOM columns so that Inventor remembers which columns I need?  I know that I can add in the file name column etc. but I use the same columns over and over.  I find myself in every assembly adding these columns in.

Set up your columns in an assembly then use the export button at the bottom of the dialogue box and save somewhere handy.

Edit your assembly template and import the settings from the export you made in the first assembly.

The BOM settings can also be imported to any older existing assemblies.
