BOM Reference parts and view boundaries

I have an assembly that uses reference parts. I do not want them in the BOM, but they are used in other drawings in the BOM. When I make them reference, the iso drawing view boundaries are not correct. Can I change the size? Crop will only decrease the size not increase?

Edit View > Model State tab > Margin.  Keep raising the number until you include everything you want to see.  However, you do not have control of the increase in any particular direction; it's the same amount all around.

It is greyed out. I have access to it when I create a new ISO view, but not edit one.

I had made all parts normal. The feature to change margins is only available if you have a reference part.

My previous work around was just to hide the entries in the BOM.
