B/W Plotting

I've set up Inventor to show line types in different colors, i.e. visible lines, hidden lines etc...However, when I try plotting them to a standard black and white printer, they plots come out dithered. Any ideas?

I think the only way is if there is a setting
in the printer properties to print black and white.  Some have them and
others don't.
