Autodesk inventor Viewer 2104 launch problems

I am using Window7 service pack 1

Intel Duo 2  Quad Processor

4GB ram

Windows has been updated today with all the most recent updates except language packs

I have .net 4.5

Uninstalled and then reinstalled Inventor Viewer 2014.

Every time I try to launch it I get the following error.

I have autodesk inventor 2014 and that launches and runs without a problem.

I am having the exact same issue on a Win7 i5 64-bit installation. Doing an Autodesk clean uninstall didn't help at all, nor did repairing the .Net framework.

Anyone have any ideas? I really can't afford the downtime to do a complete Windows reinstall just for this.
