Autodesk Inventor modeling guitar neck

I have questions about using Inventor tools modeling.

I am currently using Autodesk Inventor 2008

What I want to model is an electric guitar neck which I am stuck in modeling the blend point near the neck joint (I uploaded the picture, highlighted with yellow rectangle), where the curve goes downward.

Along the length neck (from the string nut to the 15th fret (before the curve goes downward) I used the loft tool which works fine

If you are not clear or confused, or need more information please tell me.

Thank you,

Ninja

Hi!

I added a ipt. file and stp. file because I work at Inventor 2012 so maybe you are not be able to open it. But from snapshot you can see a tree. Think you was really close to finish your part. Ofcourse it is my opinion how to do thet - but I thinj it should work. Just make a loft using your scatches and made a cut by a vertical plate. You dont have to bent it- some times it is easy to find another way to do it! Smiley Happy)  Good luck!

I noticed that your sketches are not constrained.
I recommend you start here http://home.pct.edu/~jmather/AU2007/MA105-1L%20Mather.pdf

Hi Bogdan,
My computer crashed, (not from inventor) just got it fixed and it's late night now. I saw your attached picture, from looking at the tree if I'm mot mistaken, you just lofted my part then delete face, trim, stitch? Looks simpler than I thought.

I'll continue with my part tomorrow. Thank you

Hi JD Mather,
Thanks for the Autodesk guideline, as I am new to Inventor.

I'll study and play with Inventor tomorrow.
