Autodesk Inventor become very slow while "save as" into another N/w machine

Hi,

I am facing slowness issue while doing "Save As" step file in to another network machine. Same time, I am able to copy  step file directly in to network machine.

I would be greatful, if anyone gives me solution.

Thanks in advance.

I m using ver 2013. Actually, I am trying to copy n paste step file from one machine to another through Autodesk Inventor by using "Save As" option. But it takes 25-30 mnts to save.

Regards

How large is it file size wise?

Have you done the same size file in 2012 and not have the same time issue?

What version of step are you exporting it?

Can you repeat this? ( just in case your network was busy)

Have you saved it to your local drive to test time issue ( in case network was busy)

Its hardly few KBs file.

We do not have 2012 version.

What version of step are you exporting it?

2013

Repeated atleast 5-6 times. Also did after restarting machine but didn't work.

It takes few seconds either to copy paste in local drive or save it from Autodesk Inventor 2013.

Also tried direct copy paste in another machine by mapping folder. It also takes hardly few seconds. It means there is no issue in network. We have only 3 computers in separate network and 1 CNC and 1 CNC Filling Machine. Same issue we are facing when we try to throw the data to CNC milling machine.
