have been having issues in an school lab with Inventor behaving correctly on
aging Dell Precision WorkStation 450s. I am hoping the Nvida drivers were just
out of date since they have now all been upgraded to because users have been
reporting numerous issues including outright Inventor crashes. For some
unexplained reason over half of the lab keeps switching to software rendering
mode the slowest and least useful over using directx. Panning within a 2D
document using the scroll button has also randomly stopped working on and off
for many users. Now running Quadro Release 176.04 listed as performance
drivers for Nvida's site. They list Autocad specific drivers but we do not
have Autocad 2009 installed only the Inventor package along with Revit and
3dsmax. Am I using the right drivers now and what could be causing these
issues? Thanks Daniel
