Arrow Side Position in Drawing Templates

Hello,

I want to change the Arrow Side Position for Weld Symbols from Top to Bottom for all future drawings. I have opened the Drawing Template (Standard.idw) and opened the Styles Editor and switched the Arrow Side Position and saved the template. Then I have tested. In the template it works good, but when I open a new drawing (based on the template) the arrow side position didn't change.

Can anybody help me?

Did you save the changes back to the style library?

Are you getting any messages about the styles when you start a new drawing from this template?

When I left the Styles Editor I have saved the changes. I have also saved the template drawing. Have I saved the changes in this way to the Styles Library?

I get no message when I start a new drawing.

Open the template and make sure you have the changes you want.

Go to manage tab, Styles and Standards panel and save, this will push the changes in the template back to the style library.

You have to have the project set to Use Style Library = Read-Write to do this.

Yes, now the changes are saved to the Styles Library and it will appear also in new drawings.
