Hello I am a student who is currently using Autodesk Inventor Proffesional 2014 version. I was thinking of installing the 2015 version , as the 2014 version does not work with the windows 8.1 so I am stuck on windows 8. I wanted to know would the files on 2014 work on 2015 and vice versa.

Welcome.
Files created in 2014 will open in 2015, but once they are saved there is no going back to 2014 or earlier.
