Appearance Editor Position Rotation reversed on side

Hi Inventor Crew

When I put 45 for eg into the dialogue box of the ‘Appearance Editor’ ‘Position’ ‘Rotation’,  

to show wood on the angle,

the Appearance on the Back & Front of the part faces, points in opposite directions.

For eg, from one side the part and Appearance is aligned, but from the opposite face, the Appearance is rotated 90 deg.

. . I have to use an Appearance override,

with the Image Appearance rotated 90 deg in the opposite direction,

for every piece of timber I have on the angle.

Is this just my system, is it the Designers desired output,

And is it something that can be fixed by a setting.

Other people have just created a copy of the Appearance with the material rotated to get the "other side". This has always been a problem with "wood" type appearances to get the look the same on all sides.
