Anyone seen this error!!!

Has anyone seen this?

“This action cannot be completed because the other application is busy. Choose "switch to" to activate the busy application and correct the problem.”

I opened windows task manager and no other program is running. The CPU is pegged at 100% under performance, and I have an Inventor.exe running at the bottom of the processes tab that is using 99% of the CPU. Furthermore, I have migrated 963 out of 991 files.

Should I stop the program from the task manager as I cannot stop the program from the migration utility? What consequences will I face? Can you help a confused man out?

Thanks,

When I did my migration, there were a couple large files which seemed to
take an inordinate amount of time. Is this what you're up against? Has
the migration failed with this error message? Or did you try to stop
and do some other work and recieved this message?

There's probably an instance of Inventor running in Task Manager/Process Tad
... Pick End Process.

I had this happen. I went to Windows task manager, ended the inventor process. It let the migration keep going and the migration just opened another inventor section automatically.

Large file....I think so. But it has been running for an hour.

I remember seeing this a while back. Only cure was to reboot. Might be a windows issue.

Also kill the "WSCommCntr1.exe" process... I think I had to do that once to
get a new Inventor session running.

Good suggestion. This fixed my problem although it did skip the file. A small price to pay to have the rest of the files converted. Thanks!
