Another Irritating Little R6 Problem?

I just want to check and see if anyone else is experiencing the following problem (not a big issue, but it certainly is annoying:

When I'm in the sketh mode, and I use the right mouse button to activate the 'snap to grip' function from the menu, the highlighted text becomes translucent and remains on my sketch until I execute another operation.

Maybe its just me....maybe its something else to add to an already very long list!

Do you have a Quadro 4 card with shadows turned on?
If so turn off shadows for now. After investigating similar reports from other
newsgroup users we have been able to identify a fix for this. In the mean time
turn off shadows.

Not here (of course I don't use the grid but I
turned it on just for you<g>).  Sounds like a video issue.  Do
you by chance have fading dialogue boxes turned on in Windows.  I had some
problems with this back in R5.  RMB on your desktop and select properties
then effects and uncheck "use transition effects"

see if that fixes it

We have seen received some reports of ghost menus. Can you post your machine
specs, especially graphics card, driver and settings?
