Have you been reading the SW newsgroup by any chance? This question was
asked in there an hour or two ago ;)
I don't think I've seen any coins modelled, but the easiest way would be to
extrude a circle to create the disc and then decal the flat faces with
scanned images of a coin.
If you're after a part to get a feel for scale of the rest of your assy,
