Air flow in aircraft engine

Hi,

I want to animate air flow in aircraft engine (Please see the file attached. It was captured from  http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=zy4A-z2WKhw). Is that possible to create such animation it in Inventor? If cannot, what software can do that?

In short no, Inventor cannot create an animation like the video.

Depends on what you're looking for in terms of air flow. Are you wanting true accurtate fluid dynamics and values or are you just wanting soemthing for illustrative purposes with no real fluid dynamics and solving?

For true fluid dynamics you'll need a CFD software. We used what was CFDesign before Autodesk bought them. It is now called Autodesk Simulationn CFD. Even then it's not going to be able to build an animation like the video.

If you are just wanting something for visualization or artistic you could do something like this in Max, Blender, Modo, etc. That is how that video was created.
