Adding file to the content Library

Is there any way to add Iparts to the content library that I have already
drawn. So that I could use the I drop feature with my Iparts.

Nope. iParts and the content library are two different things....stick with
the iParts. A few of us are working on a way to make them idrop-aable in a
nice interface..

Sean:

Sounds great.

Two considerations I'd suggest:

1/ It would be nice to standardize on the 'Extrusion' direction. My
preference is in the X axis because it inserts almost as nicely into a
Z-up assembly (metric default) as into a Y-up assembly (English default).

2/ How can each company's part numbers be used? I'm finding iParts to
be an extremely powerful tool for looking up the part numbers in that I
select the appropriate iPart and it supplies the number to the BOM. If
iDrop parts can't do this for me, they're a non-starter.

The theory so far (from the little that Karl, Charles and I have talked) is
that we'll provide a container for YOUR iParts so both of your worries will
be on YOUR shoulders...

I wouldn't think of suggesting that everyone uses the same part #,
description etc... wouldn't that be silly
