Add drawing to a drawing?

Evening All,

Just wondering, if I have several seperate idw files and I want to combine them into one master file, is this possible? Would be handy to have all my drawing on one file instead of the 30 or so seperate ones it will become.

tks!

You can copy whole sheets from one drawing to another but you may have problems with iproperties being read from the wrong model.

Most folks here follow the one model - one drawing method.

One large drawing will take longer to open, if you only want to edit one sheet, use up more memory resources and if it goes corrupt you've lost the lot.

Hmmm you a good point. I am not worried too much about losing it because its backed up in3 locations. But with aspects of this project maybe just grouping eqch component group (spacers, seals, misc) would be a better idea.

Thanks for the thot! 🙂
