Active project not influence folder of technical requirements (ESKD addin)

"Technical requirements"* data is a part of Design Data (default location is "c:\Users\Public\Documents\Autodesk\Inventor 2014\Design Data\GOST\technical requirements\"), right?

But there is an issue with it - unlike other design data, Inventor uses Technical requirements from location defined in Apllication Options/Files/Design Data while expected to use data located in Design Data folder set in active project.

I consider this a defect.

Autodesk, please comment.

* function of ESKD addin.

Is it working or not? You will find in the EULA agreement for the ESKD that it's not fully supported by ADSK. As it's an add-in I would assume the ADSK can place it were ever they want, as long as it's works.

"You will find in the EULA agreement for the ESKD that it's not fully supported by ADSK"

AFAIK there is no any separate EULA agreement for the ESKD support add-in (If you have any please reference to it with url).

ESKD support add-in is a part of the Inventor thus should behave the same way asthe rest design data.

Project file is the recomended way to share folder settings, right? Then why for some ESKD support settinggs should we also set DD folder on each and every PC?

I'd like to hear some comment regarding this from Autodesk.

You will find it in your Autodesk Install Directory: C:\Program Files\Autodesk\Inventor 2014\SDK\SDK_Readme.htm

Is it working or not, or do you just feel it should be installed in a different directory. It's been like this since they released the SDK add-in. It's a part of the program and not anything with Projects or Styles. Your Project file doesn't control Extrude or FEA functions, the same with SKD.

Not really sure what your perceived problem or issue really is.

Haven't you messed up "ESKD support" with "SDK"?

I can't find any mention of "ESKD" in
file:///C:/Program%20Files/Autodesk/Inventor%202014/SDK/SDK_Readme.htm

Addins are programs, not dependant on the Project File, never have been. You might consider adding it to the Idea Station if you feel strongly about it.
