ACAD DWG Launcher

Currently when I dbl click on a .dwg file from a window, it tries to open in Inventor 2008. Is there a way to default to AutoCAD 2008?

Thank you

This was answered yesterday. When using newsgroups, you should always read
the FAQs and then try a search before posting.

where are the FAQ's???
and what would you suggest to search for on this issue?
I tried "2008 open dwg files" and didnt find it
I would like to know this answer also.

A suggestion for newsgroup users. If you know it was just asked how about just putting the link to the previous post about it instead of just saying search. or read the FAQ's which must be some hidden thing, I cant find them.

There is something funny about the search.
Now when I type in "2008 open dwg files" the post I referenced is #2 in the list, where just a few minutes ago it didn't even show up at all (only went through the first 3 pages of the search results)

Thanks Brian I finally know where this FAQ is.
I was expecting a button somewhere on the board that would take you to the FAQ link. Not a post that floats around.
I wish this board could have "stickied" posts where they are always at the top. Sure would have been nice for that microsoft KB update and the text issue.

If you have just come to this board who would ever know to search around for the latest FAQ post.

You're obviously using the web-based (a.k.a.
http) interface.  Keep in mind that what you're looking at is nothing more
than an http implementation of the "real" nntp newsgroup.  It's not a
bulletin board system like mcadforums or the like.

I wish this board could have "stickied" posts
where they are always at the top. Sure would have been nice for that microsoft
KB update and the text issue.

Again, it's not a bulletin board system, but I
still think this is possible (well, sort-of) if the post is made from the nntp
side, and assuming that the posts are sorted by date.  If the poster
changes the date on his/her computer, the post would appear at the top
of the list when sorted by date, since newsgroups honor the date and
time as specified by the client, not the server (often I wish this was
NOT the case but here's a situation where this could come in handy).  It
would be interesting for Mr. Keller to advance his computer's date by seven days
before posting the FAQ so that it stays at the top for that entire
week.
