3 bugs in R8 i've found

1.) When changing the colors of parts, the program hangs until I Ctrl-S
save, then it wakes up. Weird. I've also noticed that the assembly looses
the color of these same parts next time I open Inventor.

2.) Cross-part adaptivity caused a crash, and then when I open the assembly,
the part cannot be made adaptive again, because it informs me it is already
in use in another assembly. Where? I deleted every copy of the file in the
old versions folder, to no avail.

3.) Inconsistent RMB key strokes, eg "I" for Isometric does not always work.
Selecting a sketch will sometimes share the sketch, other times edit the
sketch. There are actually quite a few inconsistencies of this sort of
thing.

While I'm at it, how about enabling a customised keystroke for "Edit
Feature" and "Edit Sketch" (select the feature in the browser or the
graphics windows, then press the key of your choice).

Also, quite often the in an assembly the panel bar comes up as blank, and
you have to load it.

I might add as well, overall, R8 has been a pleasure to work with.

I believe that 'S' will place you in edit sketch if you have one
highlighted in the browser. If you are in Feature select mode and have
a feature selected in the graphic window, RMB and pick Edit Feature.
This will drill down into sub assemblies.

Seeing as though you've started a thread about bugs, I may have one. When I have several models open at the same time and I pan back and forth between them (I like to use Control/Tab)It shows me all the features in the browser panel but there is no model visible (yes, I've zoomed extent). I've tried to edit the sketch and thought that might make it show up but it doesn't. The only way I can get them to show up is to close Inventor. Anyone else have this problem?

That helps but sometimes I don't trust my own judgment so I use Avatech support to verify my sanity.
