2013 STL import

It seems like Inventor 2013's STL import is basically the same as what you could do with an addon previously. It is purely visual. You can't measure it. mate it to anything, or modify it in any way. I was hoping it would be more like Solidworks. Sure, it would still look like the triangular mesh crap because it's an STL. But at least Solidworks would let you measure distances and use the faces to create sketches for new features.

This is a known limitation currently, we have logged it as a wish list to our user experience designer, hopefully we will have some enhancements in the future.
