I'm not sure if I understand correctly, but if I were to create a "vertical" angled workplane ... I would click the vertical plane in the origin and then the vertical axis: ex: XY plane .. Y axis that allows me to enter angle afterwards.
I'm using Inventor 2011
You can't. Your method results in a parallel plane.
Create a sketch line or axis where you want the angled plane.
Exit sketch and start the Workplane command and click the sketch plane and the line.
A dialog box will pop up in which you can enter any angle you want.
For a compound angle do as above but put the sketch line at an angle as well.
Attach your file here if you can't figure it out.
That`s not an option for me becouse i want that work plane at specify distance from the face of my model. I hope you understand me now 🙂
Here's a video and file that may help.
