weld symbol attached to a sketched symbol

I need to create a sketch symbol with some welding symbol in it. We need to show in our dwg’s the weld detail of a coupling to the tank. I have to create a library with sketched symbols because we use the same welding symbols - usually we show on the dwgs the type of the welds used for couplings and pipes.

Thank you,
Diana

Hi Diana,
Here are two ways to create a customer symbols with weld symbols:
1.In Inventor:
1) Create a welding symbols
2) Create a some additional things using the sketch symbols attached the welding symbols
This contains one-sketch symbols and a welding symbol See attachment.

2. In AutoCAD
1) Create a welding symbols
2) Save copy as *.dwg
3) Edit the welding symbols form the Inventor (Take prompt texts for example)
4) Then invoke the block in Inventor
See attachment.
NOTE: As I know Inventor cannot using the welding symbols as sketch directly.

Thanks,
