there is no option where we can apply draft for surface.... this option is there in all the major softwares....
what is the altenate solution for this issue???
We always tend to prefer things to work in ways that we are already familiar. You will probably have to suppress the natural frustration on differences between Pro/E and Inventor and not try to force Inventor to work like Pro.

we have to compare with other softwares to make our software better.... if not, our software will be a failure in the market.... if something is not there we have to take a step forward to add it....
if something is there in pro/e we have to think why its there and whats its purpose.... because if we tend to lose the purpose then we would be wasting so much of time and money...
i feel inventor is not a good tool when compared to pro/e and catia....
but it could be made better....
I have had reasonable success with supplying concrete examples to Autodesk on some issues, on others not so much.
I have observered near zero succees from rants that do not provide supporting datasets.
In the past 2 or 3 years Autodesk has become very receptive to datasets and discussions involving other software, where in the past they might remove my images or files from the forum (they usually let me get away with verbal discussion as long as I kept it balanced and not just a rant). Example from years ago (that was fixed soon after http://forums.autodesk.com/t5/Autodesk-Inventor/SolidWorks-works-Inventor-still-doesn-t/m-p/928374/h....
Post examples.
