spacing increments

Hi

I placed some increments on a face.I have drawn each 1 as a sketch and extruded. The outcome worked but how would you perform this task ....are there simpler ways to achieve?

Thanks

James

it depends on the type of contraol do you want for these feature.

You can do a circular pattern for example, or 2 circular pattern if you want to keep separated the differents cuts.

Edit Sketch2.

Right mouse button - Show all Constraints.

What do you see?

It is usually better to pattern features rather than sketch entities.

I'm gonna agree with JD on this one. You'll typically want to keep your sketches simple. Patterning your feature, rather than your sketch geometry, would probably be the better way to do it.
