sketch made of projected lines does not update

I have made a sketch in an assembly where I have projected lines and planes to it from other parts.
The sketch is then used to make beams with frame generator. But when a make a change of the position of the parts the sketch and the beams are not updated. How can I get this to work?

Best regards,
Emil Pettersson

Does the Update 'lightening bolt' light-up. If so click the arrow to it's
RHS and select Global Update.

Have you tried Rebuild All ?

Hopefully Adsk will respond as there is a problem with a lot of users trying
to get various Inv files to up-date.

The lightning icon does not light up and it doesn´t work with rebuild all.
The sketch made to be used with frame generator is updated when the part distance is changed, but the beam does not change, not even if I make the beam between 2 points on the 2 parts.

It seems that projecting in assembly environment isn't working at all. You can project but the lines aren't linked to the original geometry. I wonder if this has ever worked in the earlier versions?

Has anyone any experience with this workflow?

Can you post you dataset?

sorry can't do that. There are some components involved that i can't publish here.
I've tried to simulate this problem with other parts in an assembly but that seems to work fine.... 😞

There must be something you are doing different between the two assemblies. If you are ever able to duplicate the behavior in a simple experimental assembly that doesn't have any proprietary data be sure to post the assembly so that others can try to figure out what is going on.

Strange thing is that the actual projection of the geometry is working.
But the sketch doesn't turn in to the "adaptive" mode. You can also see that at the projected lines. They appear as "normal" sketch lines (green lines in "Deep blue" color scheme) and not as "projected" sketch lines (orange lines).
