sending sketches to back in IDW

Folks,

When you bring in an assembly into an IDW and allow a sketch from one of the parts to be "visible". Inventor automatically brings that sketch to the top of all the lines, i.e. the sketch is the most prominent lines in the drawing.

Is there any way to send this entire sketch behind the other parts "lines" in the drawing???

In autoCAD you can just click on "send to back". Why is there not this option in inventor?!?!

Thanks

You could try making the sketch part a solid 3d part then Inventor would treat it as such and if it is behind Inventor will hide it, if it's in front Inventor will show it.

Not just IDW... Inventor in general (especially IPTs). They need to add "Send to Back" and "Bring to Front" commands for sketching. They should also allow continuing to draw a line. Sometimes it works, sometimes not.
