second leader to a weld symbol

How can a second leader be attached to a weld symbol? I tried RMB on the symbol and choosing "Add Vertex \ Leader". This only put in another vertex and not a leader.

Andrew why is it not possible to attach that second leader straight to
the 'corner'? Instead you have to attach as you demonstrated on the
first leader line then move it to the corner. Its an extra step I hate
doing each time

A fine question. I'll have to do some digging.

Thanks for the reply. I knew this would be another work around. This seems to be indicative of Inventor (even more than SW and ProE). Does Inventor have a users group that does more than complain and find work arounds? I would like to participate in guiding real improvement and functionality.

I don't understand. This isn't a work-around, this is how you create an
additional leader.

For some it is a work around (see Troy's message) and that's OK. Every software has them. All I wanted to do was help improve this product.

Bill,
There is a lot of help provided here. This is actually one of the best discussion groups I've participated in. However, you can not deny that there are a lot of postings from frustrated users who have to settle for a convoluted solution to an every day issue. Once again, I am searching for a way to make relevant change. Does such a forum exist?

I cannot view the AVI, and others might not be able to also. Can you please supply a written description?

By the way, a small "centerline" symbol had to pop up before the leader could be finished. Otherwise, every time I hit "esc" the entire leader would dissapear! This is very very tricky to get this to work for me....even the "centerline" symbol is no guarantee it will work...practice is needed.

I don't know what's in the video either, but basically you can only draw additional leaders - whether it's for a weld annotation or a leader text object - to an edge.
