new user questions

I am to start classes tonite.. never used autocad before.. I have some experience with mecanic drawing system..
Is inventor harder then autocad, how bad off will I be by not having any experience

Is really fun to use, i use it from one month and i discover each days (by
the discussion and by my self) Before i was working on Pro-e and it was a
big headache.... Inventor is more intellignet than Autocad and easier i
think.

your much better off not knowing
autocad.

 

for a new user, i would say IV is alot easier to
just pick up and learn also.

I've taught quite a few Inventor classes and the truth of the matter is it is all up to you. If you focus on learning the tool and how it works you will do fine. Later you can apply the tool to the job at hand. If you focus on learning a process .... well those are the users that can't adapt.
