motion along a drivetrain

I have constructed a simply drivetrain (driveshaft, differential, and axles) and used angular motion constraits so they all should rotate properly. Once they are all constrained, I go to rotate the driveshaft and only some of the parts rotate properly. Does the order in which I constrain the parts matter? I know that I have constrained them properly, because I have done it several times and it has to be right. Whatever part I rotate, it always rotates the next part, but then that part doesn't rotate the following part. Thanks for the help.

Can you post to customer files.

A helpful tool for multiple drive constraints is animator. Can be found at http://www.sdotson.com
