model rotating with new sketch

I have a problem that I am hoping someone here can help me with.

When I open a part file and go to start a new sketch, the part will rotate around into a position that I'm not wanting it in.

Is there a setting I can change that will allow me to start my sketch in the position I have my part rotated in?

Thank you very much for your help.

Click on the big "I" in the top left corner, and click on "Options".  Go to the "Sketch" Tab, and uncheck the box that says "Look at sketch plane on sketch creation and edit".

cool.

I've been using F5 to get back to my previous view.
