When measuring between an axis and a face, the measurement tool gives deltas (x,y and z).  See page 1 and 2.  The axis is parallel with the face.

When measuring between an axis and an axis, the measurement tool gives a minimum distance.  See page 3 and 4.  Both axis are coplanar and parallel.  I would expect the same type of deltas.  Can inventor give the deltas between the axis?

Measuring endpoint to endpoint gives me what I was after.  I still think axis to axis should provide deltas if possible.
