Possibly the link with the Derived part might be the issue. I would try to open the Derived part by it's self and do a rebuild and see if the mass is correct. Then open the assembly and do a rebuild and then check if it's correct.

Possibly the imported files are not a true solid, but could be a surface model which would explain their small mass (in this case next to nothing).
