iFeature - Multibody

Hi to all guys,

is there  away to use an IFeature creating a new body?

I mean, modeling a part as multibody, i would like to insert a feature with an iFeature, but i would like too that that new feature will be a new body.

I have tried in many ways.. including inserting in the ifeature a Split Feature..but with no sucess...

Any ideas or alternative ways to iFeatures?

Thank you!

Unfortunately iFeatures can only be used to add geometry to existing features. I don't think that they can be used to add bodies at all.

Would deriving in a body help you?

Hi Paul, thank you for your answer.

unfortunatelly the derive option doesnìt allow me a quick and flexible position, moreover i would like to add cut and add material...  iFeature would have been perfect..if..

😞
