Gears are very complex depending on application. You will need to supply specifications for what you want. Unless you are actually manufacturing the gears - simplified friction discs will do the job and not bog down your assemblies.

You could download Mechsoft. http://www.mechsoft.com The demo should be good for about 15 Days and very likely create the gear you need. You might also try Ole Germer's Site (Timken bearings, Involute Gears, Roller Chains etc.) http://www.geocities.com/olegermer/index.html hotsam wrote: >need an ipart for helical gear cananyone help please > > > >

Try Traceparts.

http://www.tracepartsonline.net

Search for "Gear".

You'll get lots of good results.

I have posted it under my Name shrikant murkute . Subject is

"Helical Gear REVIEW Needed and HELP to use Excel Formulae to create variants"  You can look in to the details of the message i have posted along with attachement of .ipt files, & gear data for Helical gears of 19T & 38T. Hope you will get it and understand my query and respond.

I have created 2 Helical gears to be used in a Gear Reducer. I have also attached the Gear DATA dwg. and Gear .ipt files.  CAN any one let me know the helical gear i modelled using the gear data has correct profile as per data. also if you have different approach to generate these helical gears then  Please model New gear .ipt files with this gear data and attached them in your reply message.

I want to use these two gear blanks for creating other variants also i.e.gear combo of 24T & 48T, 26T & 52T. etc.

TO create these i want to use design table of Excel Sheet with formulae . I tried  i am not able to link the Excel file to the model  and also which all parameters should we consider in Excel table to create variants of Helical gear .Can any one help me in this too. ?? Files Attached

Are you going to be manufacturing these gears - or do you simply need close approximations for visual representation and then purchase the actual gears from a gear manufacturer?
