flange motion

If I had a sheet metal part with one flange, can I animate the flange from 0 to 90 degrees??

I threw it into an assebmly but the thing is you need two parts to do so but I have only 1 part to work with.

Short of iLogic, you might already have the best method.

Are you talking about say in a simulation program?

What is the purpose?

You might create a part with an arc length set and a radius parameter.

In Inventor Studio - Animate Parameter from very large radius (approaching straight line curve) to finished radius.
